Vuelta al blog, y al rebote en eficiencia energética

Casi un mes en blanco...bastantes líos por aquí, exámenes, gestión, organización de cosas como el Foro BP (que comienza el lunes), en fin...que mis disculpas por la ausencia.

Vuelvo con varias cosas interesantes que iré colgando en los próximos días, y empiezo con un artículo muy curioso en Energy Policy (aquí está la versión libre), que cuantifica el rebote en iluminación entre un 3 y un 6% (muy asumible, me parece a mí). El resumen:

• A rebound of 6% is estimated for the average switch to an energy efficient bulb. 
• A rebound of ca. 3% is estimated for the main bulb in the living or dining room. 
• Higher luminosity makes up 60% (40%) of the rebound for the average (modal) bulb.
• The magnitude of the rebound differs by initial bulb and replacement bulb type. 
• A third of the switches to energy efficient bulbs entail negative rebound effects.

Interesante contrastar esto con artículos como este que ya se hicieron famosos hace tiempo, planteando rebotes muy grandes sin evidencia empírica.
